lollipops and daydreams!

I've entitled this photograph "lollipops and daydreams," as I have this post.  Years ago, I thought of tulips as nature's lollipops...and from there, I thought of the title "lollipops and daydreams."

One of my greatest passions has been photography.  This is a photo of the tulips found in Mount Vernon, Washington.  Every year, they have a tulip festival--Skagit Valley Tulip Festival--and between two locations, they put on a fabulous tulip festival.  A year ago, we moved away from Washington state, but I will forever miss the fabulous tulips!

We actually spent nine years in the wondrous state of Washington.  What an awesome state!  So much to see and do!  Funny, how much a person misses something once it's gone!  

Anyway, this particular post is focused on the tulips of Skagit Valley, and I would encourage you to put it on your bucket list.  It's definitely something you won't want to miss!
